Pain

Pain is my throat.....drinking water is like swallowing blades....it hurts even if i swallow my own saliva. I shivers at the thought of drinking water, i hesitate to send it down my throat, it is that painful.

yup, i just recovered from a fever. Never had a fever that reach 41C before....but it lasted a 3 days, the first set of medicine and anti-biotics didn't work, the second set were better, but the damage is already done. I couldn';t eat, couldn't sit, could't sleep ! can you imagine? it was so hot inside me, i close my eyes and can still feel my eyes burning.  i ate all of 2 slice of bread and 2 tiny bowl of porridge for 2 days. Luckily , my son was home to made me glucose drink as instructed by my wife calling back home from the office. They monitored my temperature every hour, and force me to sit up once in a while....i didn't think sitting up help, cause i feel asleep sitting anyway.

Am glad me kid and wife took extra effort to care for me, now i'm better.  but the painful throat...it will take a while i think.

Money

I love and hate money....

i love money because it pays for everything....car, food, beer....bills too, and it the driving force behind why i wake up at 6am in the morning and also the reason why i push myself to work 7 days a week, public holiday included..... its a necessity... it's everything.

but...i hate it too, i hate why we work our ass off sometimes for it.....i hate it when you have little of it and you need to borrow some to get through a rough patch that you realize money..... ...wonderful money.... makes you friend-less.... those that stick around avoid talking about money like the plague....the moment you talk about money....the conversation end ,they quickly scan the horizon for someone to rescue them, the so call "brothers" "kaki" "best friend" all scatters...

i will work it out......i will prevail.... for yall so call friends.....fuck you.

annoyance ...

you know how big hypermart or small supermart make their money?

they stock up on anything from paper clip to pork ribs so you can get everything and anything you want all under 1 roof.

but why do they always make us wait so long at the cashier? right? happens to you too?
i spent 30mins shopping around, and wait 15mins to pay..... lucky for me, i was buying alot, imagine if i just wanted a peanut fix, maybe a coke to go with it...and maybe some chips.....isn't it frustrating?

and it's just not only the small supermart, those big ass hyper/mega/giant-mart have this problem too !!

they make you wait to give them money.

and this big ass mart in suntec city have problems with their price tag too.

they only list 1 price for 1 product, example they list the price of 6pack brand of beer, but they don't list the 24s, and when they do list the 24s price, they only do it for the 325ML cans, but not for the 24s 500ML cans. i had to approach the staff to carry the 24s 500ML to the price scanner. now the staff is a tall and strong dude, but how do you expect a small lady staff to carry 24 can of 500ML beer? and lift it to the scanner? ....sheesh !!!
